All popular blogs have a first post. I think that's pretty safe to say. With no first post of posts, it makes for a very dull blog. So here is my first post.
I can't really say that this blog has any particular theme or subject matter that I'll be hanging on to. I've written other blogs and most have had some sort of a reason for existence. This one, on the other hand, exists for the sole purpose of writing. That is to satisfy a somewhat nagging desire to write something, no matter what that something may be. I can't really make any grandiose claims to guarantee that my writing will make an enjoyable read or that you really should come back again some time soon to read some more. All I can say is that hopefully my writing will get better with time. I suppose, in a sense, that THIS is a true web log (blog).
